IRS Raises 401k Contribution Limits

In October this year, the IRS adjusted the amount of money investors can defer in various retirement plan accounts. Most notable, IRA contribution limits stay the same, but most company-sponosered plans have increased. Many of our clients are able to fund a 401k plan through their employer and the maximum deferral will be $17,000 for 2012.
